Terms & Conditions

1. General

These Terms and Conditions may be subject to change at any time without notification. Any changes will be effective immediately and will be displayed on the Project Plus Limited (“Project Plus”) website. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are familiar with Project Plus’ Terms and Conditions. Each and every time that you use the services of Project Plus you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions together with all other terms and conditions specific to the service Project Plus is providing.

For online courses, you must have agreed to Training Byte Size’s Terms and Conditions before completing your registration. In addition, it is your responsibility to ensure that you have access to a stable, adequate internet connection.

In these Terms and Conditions, all references to “you” mean the individual making the booking, the individual attending the workshop or Certification Course and the employer (either an individual or an organisation) of the individual making the booking.

For exams completed online, you hereby agree that you are the person named on the exam and that you did not receive assistance in completing the assessment.

2. Commitment to Pay

An Invoice will be emailed automatically to the “order contact” when you make a booking. Invoice payments may be made by electronic funds transfer or credit card (if you have selected the credit card payment option).

Your booking will not be guaranteed until payment in full is received.

For all skills and knowledge workshops, payment is due at least 14 days prior to the start date. For online courses, access is granted once payment is received. Once you have access, payments are non-refundable.

Payment is due for Certificate in Project Administration (CPA) and Certificate in Project Coordination (CPC) prior to the start date of the first workshop.

For any certification course (PRINCE2®, MSP®, Mop®, Change Management®, AgilePM®, PMP®, or CAPM®) payment must be received at least 7 working days prior to the course start date.

To qualify for any special discount offer, payment must be made no later than the expiry date of any such offer. You will be re-invoiced at the standard price should your payment not be received by the required date.

All costs incurred by Project Plus arising out of your failure to pay by the due date, including full legal costs, disbursements and collection costs, shall be payable by you upon demand.

3. Transfers / Cancellations / Refunds

In the event of unforeseen circumstances, a workshop, certification course or venue may need to be changed or be cancelled. Project Plus reserves the right to alter any venue and/or facilitator or cancel a workshop/certification course. In the unlikely event of this occurring, Project Plus will refund any course fees paid but no additional compensation will be made should there be a date reschedule or cancellation. Project Plus will endeavour to provide at least 7 days’ notice of any such cancellations or changes.

You are responsible for arranging your own travel and accommodation and we recommend you make flexible/refundable arrangements. Project Plus will not be responsible for any additional costs incurred (e.g. travel/accommodation costs) should any changes to workshops, certification courses or venues become necessary.

3.1. Skills and Knowledge Workshops

Substitutions are welcome up to 3 working days prior to the workshop start date. Should you need to cancel or transfer attendance for any reason, the following rules will apply:

Cancellation of attendance at a workshop up more than 10 working days prior to the start date: Full refund, less $100 administration fee
Cancellation of attendance at a workshop  within 5 – 10 working days prior to the start date: 50% refund of the course fee
Cancellation of attendance at a workshop fewer than 5 working days prior to the start date or non-attendance without notice: 100% forfeit of the course fee – no refund
Transfer of attendance to another course more than 10 days prior to the start date: $100 transfer fee
Transfer of attendance to another course within 5 – 10 days prior to the start date: $150 transfer fee
Transfer of attendance to another course fewer than 5 days prior to the start date or non-attendance without notice: $200 transfer fee

 

3.2. Certification Courses  and Examinations (e.g. PRINCE2®, MSP®, MoP®, PMP®, CAPM®, AgilePM®, Change Management).

Due to the administrative requirements regarding exams for the Certification Courses, no refunds will be given in the event you cancel your booking for any reason within 9 working days. Project Plus does not accept transfers for the Certification Courses but will accept substitutions at our discretion and if they meet the criteria for the course.

You must bring your photo ID when you sit the exam. Either a passport or driver’s license is acceptable.

Please note if you do not bring your photo ID with you to the exam you will not be able to sit the exam. At this stage, the exam is non-transferable and the fee cannot be refunded.

Substitutions are welcome up to 8 working days prior to the workshop start date (subject to the substituted person meeting any required course prerequisites). Should you need to cancel or transfer attendance for any reason, the following rules will apply:

Cancellation of attendance at a certification course more than 21 working days prior to the start date: Full refund, less  manual (if dispatched, or returned in damaged condition) and $100 administration fee
Cancellation of attendance at a certification course 9-20 working days prior to the start date: 50% refund of the course fee, less manual
Cancellation of attendance at a certification course fewer than 8 working days prior to the start date: 100% forfeit of the course fee – no refund
Transfer of attendance to another course more than 10 days prior to the start date: $100 transfer fee
Transfer of attendance to another course within 5 – 10 days prior to the start date: $150 transfer fee
Transfer of attendance to another course fewer than 5 days prior to the start date or non-attendance without notice: $200 transfer fee

3.3. Online Courses Cancellation and Transfers

Once you have been granted access to an online course, no refunds are available.

3.4. Our Refund Policy

If you change your mind after purchase, the refund and transfer fees detailed above apply.

4. Privacy Statement

Project Plus is committed to protecting your privacy. Project Plus does not sell, publish or provide information to third parties that can be directly associated with you except in circumstances where Project Plus is required to share data with third parties authorised to administrate exams or when required by law to do so.

The information Project Plus collects about you is used for maintaining training records, and providing you with news, services and/or information on our training updates, if you have opted to subscribe.

Notwithstanding the above, Project Plus may be legally required to disclose certain information. Project Plus reserves the right to disclose information to law enforcement or other government agencies if it is demanded in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringements, or other activity that is illegal or may expose Project Plus to legal liability.

5. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights (including but not limited to copyright) in all products, courses and course materials at all times belong to and shall remain vested in Project Plus and any of our courseware providers. Neither you, nor any other person, shall obtain any intellectual property rights or any other interest, right or title whatsoever in or to any product or any course materials.

If you purchase a course for which we provide you course materials, we hereby grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use those materials strictly for the purpose of participating in the relevant course and for your own educational, non-commercial purposes.

You shall ensure that such course materials are only made available to and accessed by you and you must not make available, copy, reproduce, disseminate, re-transmit, sub-license, distribute, sell, publish, broadcast or otherwise supply in any medium and in any manner any such materials (or any part of them) to any third party.

6. Authorisation and Acceptance

You acknowledge that you have read these Terms and Conditions and in any event are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when you make a booking.

You confirm and undertake that as the “order contact” you are authorised to complete the transaction and you accept the terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and your organisation and attendees.

You acknowledge that payment by credit card is at your own risk. Should payment not be received by Project Plus due to any error or defect of the transfer, you will still be liable to make payment of the training fees to Project Plus.

You acknowledge that you are legally entitled to study in New Zealand where relevant.

You further acknowledge that you meet the prerequisites specified.
