On the 11th of April we will be running our Project Planning and Control course in Wellington. This course teaches participants how to understand the principles of project planning, scheduling and resourcing and learn how to plan & control all projects. Project Planning and Control is an excellent opportunity for new members of a project team to learn vital principles or for existing project staff to refresh and advance their knowledge.
Before beginning a project, it is vital to understand the principles of project planning, scheduling and resourcing. Project Planning and Control is an interactive workshop that will show you how to plan, monitor, report and control time and resources throughout the project life cycle. Participants will also learn how to:
- Draw logic network diagrams using precedence notion
- Draw bar charts and other graphs
- Analyse networks to find dependencies, dates, critical path, float etc.
- Assess the effect of varying resource demands and availabilities on activities
This course is ideal for new members of a project team or for any Project Coordinators or Schedulers wishing to advance their skills.
